LIVONIA, MI - (January 5, 2009) – ER-One is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dan Angeli to the company’s executive team. Dr. Angeli will assume the role of Medical Director at Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center effective today.
As Medical Director, Dr. Angeli oversees ER-One’s
patient service initiatives. He is responsible for promoting best
clinical practices in healthcare delivery in the St. Francis emergency room.
"Dr. Angeli is an excellent choice for this position, combining the
experience, knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the highest level of
patient care," said Dr. John Bauer, Chief Medical Officer of ER-One.
"He is ideally qualified to lead ER-One’s patient-focused approach."

Center welcomes Dr. Dan Angeli as Medical Director. ”We are pleased to add Dr.

and Administrator for St. Francis Medical Center. “We look forward to working with him as we

Dr. Angeli is a board certified emergency medicine physician. He received his
medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine
and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Pontiac
Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Angeli is currently completing a Master in Medical
Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Before coming to St. Francis Medical Center,
Dr. Angeli spent over fifteen years working at the Port Huron Hospital in Port
Huron, Michigan. During this time Dr. Angeli served in roles such as the
Industrial Health Services Medical Director and the Vice President of Medical
Affairs.
Dr. Angeli is a member of the American College
of Physician Executives, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Michigan
State Medical Society. Dr. Angeli is a Fellow
of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American College of
Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. In addition, he was appointed as a Clinical
Assistant Professor at Michigan State University and is a course director for
Advance Cardiac Life Support.
