Oakwood Heritage Hospital services Taylor and the surrounding communities. This 248-bed, full-service community hospital, has been delivering outstanding medical care to these communities since its opening in 1977.
Since that time Oakwood Heritage has achieved state and national recognition for their leadership in clinical quality. Oakwood Heritage is the proud recipient of the Governor's Award for clinical quality and the VHA Clinical Leadership Award for prevention of surgical complications and infection as well as the treatment of heart failure. In addition, Oakwood Heritage was one of only three hospitals in Michigan to receive the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Total Joint Replacement.
