Bon Secours Richmond Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare system that operates four Richmond hospitals—St. Mary’s Hospital, Memorial Regional Medical Center, Richmond Community Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. Richmond’s newest hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, is a state-of-the-art facility with 130 private rooms and a full spectrum of services. St. Francis is the first new hospital built in Chesterfield County since 1985, and since that time has been proudly serving Chesterfield and the surrounding communities.
Bon Secours St. Francis offers the latest in digital technology, including all-digital imaging, operating rooms of the future, patient rooms wired for the internet, digital mammography, PET/CT, and clinical imaging like Echocardiograms, vascular and cardiac catheterization. Its peaceful setting provides a restful and contemplative environment for patients, families, staff and the community. The Chapel, prayer gardens, fountains and walking paths are designed to enhance the spiritual aspects of healing.
St. Francis is the closest emergency room for many residents in Chesterfield and surrounding communities, and has 21 private patient bays for patient convenience and privacy.
